Sole Practioner/Small Firm Section
President: Chandler Bridges
According to the American Bar Association, approximately 60% of lawyers practice in a solo or small firm setting. Despite the variety of practices these lawyers represent, they, or more accurately, "we,” have much in common. The purpose of the Solo Practitioner Small Firm Section is to allow us to network, share ideas and resources and learn from each other’s experiences and knowledge.
The Section holds monthly lunch meetings at noon on the fourth Thursday of each month at varying locations (currently Willie Ray’s on Marietta Square). Topics have included marketing, web presence and internet search issues, social media, accounting basics, business structures, office management, and discussions on various areas of substantive law. CLE credit is often available for these meetings.
The annual dues to become a member of the Solo Practitioner/Small Firm Section of the Cobb County Bar are $25.00.
