The Cobb County Bar Association & Platinum Sponsor Thomas | Kayden held the annual 2008 Sleighbells on the Square 5K Race, on Saturday, December 13, 2008 in the Marietta Square. This Race benefits the Children’s Emergency Fund of the Cobb County Bar Association’s Community Service Fund. This Fund provides assistance to children in need through Cobb County and Marietta City Schools. Some of the assistance offered through the Children’s Emergency Fund includes covering costs for rent, utilities, educational expenses, or providing medical assistance for families that cannot afford these basic necessities. Given the tough economic times now facing everyone, the people assisted through the Cobb County Bar Association’s Children’s Emergency Fund are in more need than ever before.

This very worthy cause had the largest turnout ever! 744 entrants signed up to run, and $13,402.16 was raised for the Cobb County Bar’s Community Service Fund.
