Joint meeting with the Probate and Elder Law Section. Ophelia Chan will be leading a discussion on the implications of the Wertzer case, 330 Ga. App. 294, in which she was the attorney for one of the divorced parents of a disabled adult child in a Cobb contested Guardianship matter. Wertzer is now a seminal case in Guardianship law as, on appeal, the Court of Appeals recognized the authority of Probate Courts to enter visitation orders.
