Criminal Defense Section

The Criminal Defense Section of the Cobb County Bar Association consists of approximately 70 members. Our mission is to promote the effective administration and practice of criminal defense law and to foster a spirit of cooperation among the bench, prosecution, and defense bars to advance professionalism and serve the ends of justice for the common good. We offer CLE luncheons, open-format luncheons to discuss pending issues in criminal defense, and presentations by guest speakers. Our meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of every month at noon. We currently meet in the back room of Marietta Pizza Company, located on the southwest corner of the Marietta Square. We encourage members to sign up for the Criminal Defense Section Listserv to stay connected and participate in discussions with other members. Please note: the Listserv is reserved for active members of the Criminal Defense Section.

The annual dues are $25 to become a member of the Cobb County Bar Association Criminal Defense Section.
