Courthouse Security Protocol Training: Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 12:30 pm in the Cobb Bar Conference Room, in the Cobb County Superior Courthouse.
The Sheriff’s office will conduct the training from 12:30-1:00 pm. Please don’t be late.
PLEASE BE SURE TO SIGN-IN WHEN YOU ARRIVE.
This is the only way we can confirm that members have received the training and can retain their access cards.
Attached you will find a copy of the Cobb County Rules and Regulations for Access Card Holders document, please review, print and bring with you to the meeting or have a digital copy available during the training.
As a reminder, the steps for obtaining or keeping your access card include:
-You must be current on your Cobb Bar membership dues,
-Attend a Security Training class,
-And you must fill out an Access Card Request form (the Cobb Bar will turn into the Sheriff’s office, then in 3-4 days your card will be ready to be made: please go to the sheriff’s office in the basement of the public safety building with a picture ID. Your card will be made and activated at this time)
*** If you already have a card sponsored by the Cobb Bar and are current with your dues, we will alert the Sheriff’s office that you have completed the class and your card will be re-activated.***
