SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES SWEARING IN
There are eight (8) openings for our 2019 Supreme Court swearing in trip. The swearing in will be Tuesday morning, November 5, 2019. We usually make a weekend of the trip, with sightseeing, museums, a group dinner, and our swearing in Tuesday morning, after which we sit through the oral arguments scheduled for that day. Feel free bring your family for what is sure to be a memorable weekend.
Please note that you must have been admitted to practice in the highest court of a State, Commonwealth, Territory or Possession, or of the District of Columbia for at least three years, and in good standing in order to be considered for admission to the United States Supreme Court. (Even though you are admitted to the Georgia Bar, you must still be admitted to the Georgia Supreme Court to be considered.)
A non-refundable fee of $200.00 must be attached to this form in order to reserve your place. Make checks payable to the Cobb County Bar Association. Your deposit will be applied towards the $200 Supreme Court Admission Fee. If you cancel or don't show after having reserved a spot, your non-refundable deposit will be applied toward the cost of our group dinner.
